What Cogmosis actually is.
Cogmosis connects information that normally lives apart, machine signals, operational systems, maintenance records, procedures, documents and human experience, so people can understand what happened and what the available evidence supports.
It is not a dashboard, not a data lake, not a digital twin and not an autonomous agent. The problem it addresses is not a shortage of information. It is that the connection between information, decisions and outcomes keeps getting lost.
How it works.
The same five steps, whether the question is a repeating fault, a quality problem, or what actually happened during an incident.
01Observe
What happened? Machines, systems, documents and people each recorded part of it, in their own place and their own language.
02Connect
What other evidence relates to it? The pieces are brought together without losing where each one came from.
03Understand
What does the combined evidence support? Including the honest answer that there is not enough of it to say yet.
04Decide
What should a person do next? The evidence is prepared for a decision. The decision stays with the person accountable for it.
05Learn
What happened after the decision? The outcome becomes evidence for the next investigation.
What counts as evidence.
Anything that records part of what happened, in the systems you already run. Cogmosis holds these in one shape, so a conclusion can draw on any of them without the underlying design changing.
What a machine or sensor saw
Behavior over time rather than a single threshold crossing.
What production recorded
Runs, changeovers, materials and the operating context at the time.
What maintenance did
The work performed, what was actually found, and what was replaced.
What the procedure says
Manuals and standard work, surfaced at the moment they matter.
What a person knows
Experience recorded with their name and the time, held as evidence rather than as unquestionable truth.
Something calculated from the rest
Figures worked out from other evidence, carrying their inputs with them.
A decision that was made
What was decided, by whom, and on what basis.
What happened next
The outcome, which is the only way to know whether the understanding was right.
Intelligence close to the work.
Cogmosis is designed around private and local operation. On premises, at the plant edge, inside controlled enterprise infrastructure, and in environments with restricted connectivity. The intent is to bring the intelligence to where the work happens and keep organizational knowledge within the boundary that owns it.
The same intelligence reaches different surfaces. A workstation when there is time to think, a phone in the aisle, and assisted eyewear at the asset where hands are busy. The surface changes. The evidence and the governance do not.
